WBS began like many great South African stories – around a table, with good company and a glass of wine that sparked an idea.
In The Hague, a group of South Africans realized what they missed most: not just the landscapes and people, but the character of South African wine – bold, refined, and full of story.
It quickly became clear: these wines deserve a strong place on the global stage.
South Africa stands for resilience, diversity, and craftsmanship – reflected in everything from Chenin Blanc and Pinotage to craft beers and spirits.
What started as pride became a purpose. Today, WBS is a wholesale importer and distributor of carefully selected South African wines, beers, and spirits for hospitality, retail, and enthusiasts.
